The Hikvision DS-PDMCS-EG2-WE AX PRO Wireless Slim Magnet Detector is designed to detect the opening of doors and windows as part of a Hikvision AX PRO wireless alarm system. Its ultra-slim profile makes it ideal for neat, unobtrusive installations where appearance matters, especially on window frames, door frames, cupboards, and internal entry points.
When the protected door or window is opened and the magnet separates from the detector, the device immediately sends a wireless alarm signal to the AX PRO control panel. This allows the system to notify users quickly and trigger the relevant alarm response.
The DS-PDMCS-EG2-WE uses Hikvision Tri-X wireless technology with two-way RF communication, AES-128 encryption, and frequency hopping for stable and secure transmission. With an open-space wireless range of up to 1,200 metres, it offers flexible installation across residential and commercial environments.
The device also features front and rear tamper protection, a blue alarm LED indicator, signal strength indication, environment temperature reporting, and remote configuration via the Hik-Connect app. Powered by a CR2450 battery with up to 3 years of battery life, it delivers reliable low-maintenance protection for modern wireless alarm installations.
