The Optex VXI-ST is a professional outdoor wired PIR detector designed to provide stable and reliable perimeter protection for residential, commercial, retail, warehouse, garden, and outdoor security applications. As part of the OPTEX VX Infinity Series, the VXI-ST offers a wide 90-degree detection pattern with up to 12m coverage, making it ideal for protecting building approaches, entrances, yards, pathways, patios, and vulnerable outdoor areas.
Built with passive infrared detection and advanced digital analysis, the VXI-ST is designed to distinguish genuine human movement from common outdoor disturbances. Its digital double-layer detection requires both upper and lower detection zones to be crossed before triggering an alarm, helping reduce false alarms caused by small animals or environmental movement.
The detector features flexible detection pattern adjustment, allowing the detection range to be set according to the installation area. Pre-cut masking seals can also be used to customise the detection zone and reduce unwanted overspill detection. With SMDA logic, double conductive shielding, and outdoor-ready construction, the VXI-ST provides dependable performance in challenging outdoor environments.
