The Optex XWave2 QXI 120° Wireless Outdoor Detector 862-22-QXI-R is a reliable outdoor motion detection sensor designed for perimeter, residential, and commercial security applications. Built for stable outdoor performance, the QXI uses intelligent detection processing to help reduce nuisance alarms caused by environmental movement such as weather changes and vegetation sway.

Equipped with Super Multidimensional Analysis (SMDA) logic, the detector digitally analyses detection patterns and environmental changes to filter out noise and improve alarm reliability. Its QUAD technology with AND logic uses two detection layers to improve accuracy and provide strong tolerance against small animals when installed at higher mounting positions.

The detector offers flexible installation with selectable mounting heights and detection patterns. When installed between 2.2 m and 2.7 m, it creates a multi-level volumetric detection pattern that helps ignore small animals. For areas with larger animals, it can be mounted between 0.8 m and 1.2 m to create a pet alley setup.
