The OPTEX FLIPX 862-01-FLX-ST-BK is a high-performance Grade 2 wired indoor PIR motion detector designed for reliable intrusion detection in homes, offices, retail stores and light commercial environments. Featuring OPTEX’s innovative FlipX rotatable lens, this sensor gives installers the flexibility of two detection patterns in one unit: a wide 12m, 85° detection area for rooms and open spaces, or a narrow 18m detection range for corridors, hallways and focused entry-point protection.

Built with a bespoke pyroelectric sensor and Human-Catch Element, the FLIPX Standard is engineered to detect human movement accurately while improving pet tolerance and helping reduce false alarms. Its adjustable mounting height of 2.0m to 3.0m and included bracket make installation flexible and practical for a wide range of indoor applications.
