Hikvision Wireless Smoke + Heat Detector
The Hikvision DS-PD451SMK-WE is a professional wireless smoke and heat detector designed for use with the Hikvision AX PRO Wireless Alarm System. It provides reliable early warning against smoke and abnormal heat conditions, making it ideal for homes, apartments, offices, shops, storerooms, server rooms, and other indoor spaces where fire safety is important.
The detector uses a high-quality detection chamber with a photoelectric smoke sensor, allowing it to detect smoke particles effectively before a fire develops further. In addition to smoke detection, the DS-PD451SMK-WE also supports heat detection, including a constant temperature alarm above 64°C and a differential temperature alarm when the temperature rises by more than 10°C per minute.
As part of the AX PRO wireless range, the DS-PD451SMK-WE communicates wirelessly on 868 MHz and supports a transmission range of up to 1,000 m in open space between the detector and the hub or signal range extender. It also uses AES-128 encryption for secure wireless communication.
The detector is battery powered using 2 × CR123A replaceable batteries, with a battery life of up to 5 years, helping reduce maintenance requirements. Its ceiling-mounted design, compact size, and indoor application make it a practical and reliable safety device for residential and commercial alarm installations.
